How To Make Asian Coleslaw
Step 1 — Slice all of the veggies and add them to a large bowl. A Mandoline slicer makes quick work of slicing up the cabbage. I like to use the medium comb fitting to create matchsticks from the carrots.
Step 2 — Mix up the Asain slaw dressing. Ad all of the ingredients to a medium bowl and whisk until the dressing is smooth.
Toss the slaw with the dressing.

Recipe variations
Ramen coleslaw salad
A popular variation of this recipe includes the addition of dried ramen noodles. Add one to two bricks of the crunch noodles to the slaw right before dressing. The dried noodles add extra texture and a satisfying crunch to this side salad.

Feel free to add any combination of veggies that you are into. Here are a few of my favorite extras.

FAQs
Slaw is typically made with a base of shredded cabbage. This slaw has a peanut dressing with sesame ginger flavors that complements grilled meat like Kalbi Ribs or slow braised Korean Short Ribs.
Stored in an airtight container, this salad will keep in the fridge for up to a week. It does lose some of its crispness the longer it sits.
If you want to make this slaw ahead of time it’s best to keep the dressing separate until right before serving.
