INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED
Just a few simple ingredients are needed to make this delicious Mexican rice recipe.
Add the butter and the rice to the pan. Heat of medium high heat.
Sauté until the rice is a nice golden brown color.
Add the diced onion and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add tomato sauce + the water + the pollo de caldo (chicken boullion)
Bring everything to a boil.
Cover, and reduce the heat to low. Let the rice steam for 20 to 30 minutes — until it's tender.
Use a fork to fluff the rice.
Serve and enjoy with your favorite Mexican Recipes.
