This mouthwateringly addictive peanut sauce recipe can be used as a dipping sauce with chicken satay, toss it into peanut noodles, and even used as a salad dressing.

Adding a side of Thai peanut sauce to baked chicken or bowl of noodles makes an easy dinner that rivals any take-out. The salty, gingery, garlic-i-ness of this sauce is SO good. You’re going to want to eat it on everything!

What You’ll Need

  • Peanut Butter. Smooth peanut butter is best in this recipe. You also should use stabalized peanut butter (the kind that doesn’t seperate)
  • Soy sauce.
  • Rice vinegar.
  • Fresh Ginger.
  • Fresh Garlic.
  • Sesame Oil.
  • Sriracha. Sriracha is optional. I love the spiciness it adds to this sauce.

Making The Sauce

To make this peanut dipping sauce all you have to do is mix the ingredients together in a bowl and whisk until smooth.

If you do need to thin the sauce, just add a few tablespoons of water or lime juice.

Ways to Use Peanut Sauce

  • For Dipping. You definitley need to make this peanut sauce for spring rolls but it is so good with grilled chicken.
  • With Noodles. Thin out the sauce with a few tablespoons of water or lime juice and toss into Yakisoba or rice noodles and top with green onions and extra crushed peanuts. Serve with or without chicken.
  • Salad Dressing. Thin slightly and serve on top of an Asian Chicken salad.
  • Asian Peanut Slaw. Top sliced cabbage and green onions with thinned dressing. Add crushed peanuts.
